Taldi Walter is the Communications & Education Specialist for Audubon Alaska. Prior to joining Audubon Alaska, she worked for the National Audubon Society's Public Policy Office in Washington, D.C. Taldi has a history of working on sustainability projects in Arkansas. During her undergraduate degree at the University of Central Arkansas Honors College, she conducted a comprehensive Campus Environmental Audit. Taldi was instrumental in the establishment of a university-wide recycling program, and in 2003 was recognized by the Arkansas Recycling Coalition as the Individual Recycler of the Year. Taldi received her master's degree in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas. Her thesis work took her to the Atlantic rainforest of Brazil where she studied tropical and invasive species ecology.
